Position Overview:
This role supports the design, development, and delivery of a variety of strategic and operational initiatives that seek to transform, evolve and enhance the performance and capability of the legal profession through lifelong learning.
This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including LIV strategic partners to ensure operational effectiveness and implementation of the LIV product and service development framework.
This includes program and project management, planning and tracking of outcomes, process optimisation, coordination and implementation of key learning experience, and an emphasis on continuous improvement with a focus on quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Alongside the Head of Learning Transformation, support the strategic planning process to ensure that this process is timely, focused, and value adding by making certain that issues that impact delivery are thoughtfully addressed by and laid out in the operational plans;
- Develop and manage program and project plans for key initiatives performed by the business unit, including reviewing key strategic priorities and translating them into actionable and tangible plans for delivery;
- Define success metrics across initiatives;
- Alongside the Head of Learning Transformation, deliver on work plans and identified projects as allocated whilst maintaining project based, cross-team collaboration;
- Assist the Head of Learning Transformation in the support and promotion of staff skill development, capability and performance;
Lead and facilitate the annual review of the Practice Management Course (PMC) and make recommendations and updates for continuous improvement to drive efficiency and enhancements to faculty and the student learning experience.
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- Qualification in leadership development, learning and development, education, project management or a related discipline is essential.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and evaluating education programs, applying adult learning principles;
- Strong project and program management skills, consistently delivering results on time and within budget;
- Clear communication abilities, capable of conveying information effectively to execute strategies across the legal profession;
- Building effective networks across the organisation for the benefit of LIV communities;
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for delivering engaging and convincing reports to business/leadership;
- Leadership experience, including coaching and managing employees, with a successful record of driving change;
