Lecturer in Data Science/Epidemiology Grade 8

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to enhance our Data Science group. You will have a background in biostatistics, data science, health informatics, or quantitative epidemiology, with a focus on cardiovascular disease. Working alongside others utilising data you will be encouraged to develop generic scripts which could be used in a number of research projects, including your own specific projects. Familiarity with machine learning and an ability to program would be advantageous. You will bring a strong track record of publications in these areas, skills in epidemiology and statistical learning as it relates to biomedical applications and a desire to work collegially with researchers within the department and institute, as well as with clinical researchers to build an effective research team that is capable of attracting external funding.
