The Department of International Politics has established an international reputation as a centre of excellence in research and teaching. Responsibilities

 

The Department is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in International Politics Education. This is a twelve-month full-time post. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contribute to the supervision of students, and contribute fully to the life and work of the Department. For this Education post, 80% of the post holder’s time will be dedicated to teaching, supervision, student support, and administration, whilst 20% will be allocated to research.

 

Person Specification

 

The appointed candidate will have a PhD in International Politics or cognate field. Our ideal candidate will have research and teaching expertise in any substantive area of International Politics. Applications from candidates with expertise in the area of Human Rights, Global Ethics, and Study Skills are particularly welcome.
