We are looking for an outstanding individual to contribute to the delivery of our highly successful Advanced Programmes in Pharmacy Practice and Therapeutics (AP3T) suite of courses, including the recently accredited Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) MSc pathway.

About the role:

This post will focus specifically on the delivery of the Secondary Care diploma programme but may also be required to contribute to other courses across the department and also support the teaching of other healthcare professionals.

The Secondary Care programme is highly regarded and delivers high quality teaching of clinical and consultation skills to pharmacists in practice.

The successful individual will be keen to combine their expert professional practice with a desire to develop others through the application of their teaching and learning skills.

This appointment will work within an experienced team to support the teaching and learning of our postgraduate students across a range of units.

The successful individual would be required to cover a range of face to face and online teaching activities and support assessment, evaluation and pastoral support for students.

This post is a 1-year (fixed-term maternity cover) 0.4 FTE.

We welcome applicants who wish to do this as a part-time role, those who wish to maintain a clinical/alternative commitment in their non-University hours or also those who may wish for support in looking for partner organisations to make this post full time.

For more information about the role, please contact Tim Rennie, Director of Taught Postgraduate Programmes, ([email protected]) or Clare Hughes, Programme Lead – Secondary Care Diploma ([email protected]).
