• Position Title: Legal Aid Officer
• Reports to: Program Manager
• Location: Kirkuk
• Duration: Two months, with the possibility of extension
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support to refugees, particularly in areas related to documentation, and protection from rights violations.
  • Provide legal representation in court for refugee detainees facing legal challenges.
  • Assist refugees in preparing legal documentation and navigating legal systems.
  • Conduct legal awareness workshops for refugee communities to help them understand their rights.
  • Advocate for refugee legal rights in coordination with challenges government bodies.
  • Track and document legal cases involving refugees for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
  • Provide one-on-one legal counseling sessions for refugees facing legal.
