JOB Description:
The current call is open to fill any potential vacant places at the Legal and Procurement Department.
The trainee will be expected to carry out under supervision the following duties:
– Assist the department in its daily activities, including participating in internal and/or external meetings;
– Support contract management, procurement and grants activities, such as drafting and revising tender specifications, contracts and contract amendments;
– Participate in tenders/grant proposals evaluation;
– Provide assistance on various files and on legal requests handled by the department;
– Interact with internal and external stakeholders on legal/procurement/grants/contract management questions;
– Research and analyse law sources, such as EU regulations, legislations, legal articles, treaties;
– Report on new case-law of EU courts and keep the relevant database updated;
– Support in keeping the department databases up-to-date;
– Assist in the negotiation or amendment of contractual terms and conditions;
– Provide administrative support (e.g. archiving, data entry and processing);
– Contribute to internal reporting tasks.
