Legal Cashier / Bootle / Salary £25,000 – £27,000 / Training & Development Opportunities / Permanent RoleLegal Cashier Role OverviewAn excellent opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a leading and busy law firm based in Bootle. As the Legal Cashier you will work directly under the Finance Manager and will handle all day to day postings on Proclaim.Legal Cashier Responsibilities:

• Daily reconciliation of both client and office banks
• Process daily all financial payments, receipts, and transfers.
• Perform day end balancing procedures.
• Process credit card payments.
• Making bank and cheque payments
• Reconciliation of petty cash payments
• Monitoring compliance with all relevant codes of practice, including Solicitors Accounts Rules etc
• Payment of office expenses
• Process invoices and check completion statements

Legal Cashier Experience Required

• A minimum of 2 years experience of working as a legal cashier.
• Experience of using Proclaim Accounts.
• A knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
• SRA regulatory knowledge
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
