This is a prestigious organisation and the successful individual will reap the rewards of a company that is thriving and places immense value on their staff.This position is based in Craigavon – Monday – Friday – PermanentSalaryFully Negotiable + Fantastic BenefitsThe responsibilities of the Legal Counsel will include but not be limited to:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements including NDAs, amendments to standard terms and conditions of purchase and bespoke agreements.
- Advising on and managing a wide range of legal issues including civil litigation and regulatory matters.
- Evaluating and weighing multiple inputs/impacts of decisions/courses of action and identifying proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
- Assisting with continued development of compliance programme and advising on ad hoc compliance related queries (e.g. competition law, anti-bribery and corruption, conflict of interest)
- Performing other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time
The successful Legal Counsel will meet the following criteria:
- UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
- Newly qualified – 2 years post qualification experience (given as a guide only).
- High calibre experience with a top law firm or experience working in a fast-paced, in-house legal environment.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial & procurement contracts, with exposure to intellectual property, antitrust, anti-bribery and other regulatory issues including food labelling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to build relationships and relate to clients at all levels of the business
