The businessOperating for over two decades, the company has been a key player in supplying various forms of energy across the UK, steadily increasing its market share and growing rapidly.Known for fostering a warm, collaborative working culture, the company places a high value on its employees, providing top-level training to support their long-term career goals.With a focus on minimising its ecological footprint and adhering to ESG principles, the company actively contributes to the social and economic development of the local communities it engages with, prioritising sustainability and climate change mitigation.The RoleIn this role, you will report to an experienced General Counsel, taking on a diverse range of in-house legal responsibilities and providing advice to various stakeholders within the business.Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of B2B and B2C contracts, including NDA’s and supplier contracts, as well as overseeing data protection and regulatory compliance (DSAR’s). Additionally, you will offer legal advice to HR and Finance departments, ensuring that terms and conditions, templates, and processes align with evolving legal developments.Your role will also involve assessing legal risks, ensuring compliance, and providing guidance on potential issues the business may face.The business are offering a fantastic benefits package with some great hybrid working options.Requirements5-10 years PQE and In-House experience (preferred)Excellent drafting and contract negotiation skillsThis opportunity will allow you to play an integral role in shaping the legal landscape of an expanding energy enterprise based in Hertfordshire
