Our client is a multi-division, multi-faceted services business, which provides high-tech solutions for its global customer base. The business is currently embarking on a strategic growth trajectory & they are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer circa 3 PQE to join and play a key role in facilitating that growth. Reporting into the Director of Legal, you will have a high degree of autonomy on matters including: · drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts with customers at local and global level, as well as procurement contracts with suppliers e.g. tech/IT contracts · managing the Group’s large IP Portfolio; · assisting on GDPR/Data Privacy matters; · providing training to the business on legal matters, maintaining precedents and guidance material; · managing relationships with key stakeholders and external counsel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a circa 3 PQE in-house lawyer who wants more development in their career with huge exposure and autonomy. Alternatively, if you are a private practice lawyer with significant commercial experience seeking your first move in-house, then this opportunity will provide you with significant exposure, with the necessary support. The package includes a generous car allowance, reliable discretionary bonus, pension & private medical. The business is operating a hybrid working policy, so 2-3 days a week in the West Midlands office is a pre-requisite.
