Legal Trainees

Spark Legal and Policy Consulting is looking to recruit pro-active and highly motivated trainees to strengthen the team on a full-time basis, starting from Summer 2024. The successful candidates will be based in our Brussels office.   

As a trainee at Spark you will, amongst other things, engage in the following tasks:   

• Assisting with the acquisition of new projects and studies through tendering 
• Assisting with project management of projects and studies, including the coordination of cross-border research teams
• Conducting legal and policy research and analysis, and reporting on findings

• Working in a dynamic and flexible work environment, as part of an international and highly motivated team 
• The opportunity to work within a broad spectrum of legal and policy areas, under the direct supervision of experienced project and tender managers

• At least a Master’s Degree in Law
• a passion for and deep understanding of EU law and policy
• Excellent research and analysis skills 
• An enthusiastic, flexible attitude and excellent communication skills 
• Is keen to take initiative and learn new skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Fluent English language skills 
• A stage/internship or other work experience at the EU institutions is a plus
