About the Opportunity
This new role has been created to lead the next stage of our commitment to LGBTQIA+ Inclusion at MCM, through submission to Pride in Health & Wellbeing’s Health & Wellbeing Equality Index. With strong support from the Board and Executive team, this work is at an exciting stage of maturity. The role sits within the People, Quality & Safety team and works across all of MCM’s programs.
The role is 4 days per week, funded to 30 June 2025, with the possibility of extension.

You have:
- A strong personal commitment to safe and inclusive practice for LGBTQIA+ service users and workforce.
- The ability to lead and drive cultural change using a co-design approach.
- Highly developed influencing skills, with the ability to quickly form relationships of mutual trust and respect.
- Experience and high-level skills in project management and systems thinking.
- Previous experience with submissions to HWEI and/or Rainbow Tick (desirable).
- Experience working within a social services, health or education context (desirable).
What you’ll do:
- Use the HWEI benchmarking tools to audit and assess existing practices.
- Make recommendations for change and support implementation.
- Co-design tools, forms, practices, etc that promote LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
- Lead the HWEI Submission Working Group.
- Use project management tools to track and measure progress.
- Report regularly on progress in writing and through presentations.

- Valid Victorian Drivers license
- Right to Work in Australia
