About the Role
As the Liaison Support Librarian, you’ll be a vital part of our dynamic team, focused on serving students and academics in the Arts Faculty. Your role involves contributing to integrated information services, scholarly programs, research support, and collection management. With a dual focus, you’ll provide high-quality library information services and assist Liaison Librarians in delivering impactful learning, teaching, and research support to academics and students. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Delivering library information services, addressing complex inquiries. 
  • Collaborating with Liaison Librarians to offer professional support for learning, teaching, and research to academic staff and researchers. 
  • Supporting the development, delivery, and evaluation of scholarly, digital capabilities, and research support services for students and researchers. These programs empower key audiences to acquire effective skills in information discovery, evaluation, use, and creation.

You will also have: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. Eligibility for ALIA associate membership or progress towards it.
  • Demonstrated strong digital capability
