JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The University Libraries Assessment Department is seeking a part-time Library Assessment Associate (up to 10 hours / week) to develop and refine library dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI. Responsibilities include collaborating with department members to assess and understand reporting needs, development of a Power BI dashboard summarizing key library metrics, and refinement of existing reports for usability, aesthetics, and compliance with Penn State branding. This fixed-term appointment is available through the end of May 2024 with the potential to extend the appointment through the end of June 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: 

  • Proficiency with Power-BI  

  • Proficiency in excel 

  • Experience visualizing data 

  • Ability to work independently
