Job Summary | Auburn University Libraries seeks creative, dynamic, and results-oriented candidates for the position of Student Supervisor at the Library of Architecture, Design and Construction. The successful candidate will be hired at Specialist I/II, Library Technical commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience. The person in this position reports to the Head of the Library of Architecture, Design and Construction (LADC). The work hours include nights and weekends that occasionally change depending on the LADC operational hours. The successful candidate will perform a variety of technical and specialized paraprofessional library responsibilities involved in the investigation, organization and dissemination of library materials and resources, and responds to reference and search questions involving discriminatory judgment. The LADC is a branch of Auburn University Libraries and primarily supports the research, study, and teaching needs of the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications | Level I: High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of relevant experience. Level II: High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of relevant experience. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent. Substitutions allowed for Experience: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience. Area of Experience: Managing and processing complex data or materials and familiarity with basic computer applications and designs. |
