Livelihoods Officer (m/f)

in Sinuni

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until December 31, 2024. There are good prospects for an extension. The duty station is Based in Sinuni and working in Sinjar, in Iraq (IQ). The position is paid according to SG5.

Implementation of project activities according to the specified deadlines and organisational, contractual and financial directives.
Depending on the specialist division, the Expert is responsible for carrying out procurement activities, implementing technical measures and / or implementing social components within the framework of the specified project assignment.

Your responsibilities

– Ensure compliance with standardized SOPs for livelihoods, including compliance with relevant policies and criteria related to livelihoods policies and criteria for WHH Iraq
– Support project team in implementing the activities of the livelihoods program within the project timeframe and in accordance with minimum quality standards
– Ensure community participation at every stage of the project.
– Take an active part in the following activities to inform the stakeholders
– Identify enterprises in accordance with the project selection criteria project selection criteria
– Take an active part in the coordination of fairs and and establishing working relationship with project stakeholders including the communities.
– Ensure regular monitoring of the implementation of all activities.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Professional/ formal qualification

University degree
1 to 3 years’ professional experience working in similar position with relevant tasks and responsibilities

Foreign language skills

Fluency in English ,Kurdish and Arabic (written and spoken),
