The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration for 6 months. The place of work will be Sinuni, in Iraq (IQ). The position is paid according to SG6.
Implementation of project activities according to the specified deadlines and organisational, contractual and financial directives.
Depending on the specialist division, the Expert is responsible for carrying out procurement activities, implementing technical measures and / or implementing social components within the framework of the specified project assignment.
Your responsibilities
1- Technical Support and Advisory Services
• Provide expert advice on livelihood interventions (job creation, income generation, entrepreneurship, and vocational training).
• Develop technical tools, guidelines, and frameworks to standardize livelihood practices across partners.
• Design and conduct capacity-building programs for partners on livelihoods-related topics (market analysis, business planning).
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing platforms and peer learning sessions among consortium staff.
2- Coordination and Standardization
• Ensure harmonization of livelihood activities across partners through standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead regular coordination meetings to align interventions and share best practices.
3- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (M&E)
• Collaborate with M&E teams to monitor livelihood KPIs and evaluate project outcomes.
• Support partners with market assessments, value chain analysis, and impact reporting for donors.
4- Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy
• Build partnerships with government authorities, private sector actors, and financial institutions.
• Represent the consortium at coordination forums and support advocacy for sustainable livelihoods policies.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Professional/ formal qualification
- University degree
- 1 to 3 years’ professional experience working in similar position with relevant tasks and responsibilities
Foreign language skills
- Fluency in English ,Kurdish and Arabic (written and spoken),
