GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

TGH is implementing projects in Iraq and KRI since February 2013.

TGH started in 2019 a Food Security and Livelihood project in consortium with Mercy Corps and PAO in Ninewa Governorate, Al Hamdaniya district supporting the fish, olive, sheep and chicken value chain and the sustainable development of irrigation: rehabilitation of irrigation schemes, improvement of drainage system, promotion and implementation of solar irrigation systems, promotion of drip irrigation systems, construction of wells, partnerships with academic partners.

TGH and its partner Mercy Corps and PAO have been granted a phase II of the project, funded by the French Development Agency. The project started in March 2022 and will last 34 months. The activities will focus on:

• Additional support to the activities implemented in PERMA I in Ninewa governorate and notably solar and drip irrigation, development of a Mezzo chicken market, setting-up of the fish hatchery, support to olive farmers and scale-up of the cactus nurseries (cactus is used as an alternative feed). Around 30% of the budget will be allocated to these activities.
• Support services and microbusinesses in Saladin governorate, with a focus on Tikrit, Bayji and Northern Samarra districts. The project will focus on the same objective than PERMA I, using a MSD approach on the chicken and livestock value chains, aiming to revive veterinary and milk processing services and to enhance access to animal feed for breeders. TGH is also in charge of the irrigation component of the project, with activities focusing on rehabilitation of irrigation schemes and promotion of alternative irrigation techniques such as solar irrigation. Around 70% of the budget will be allocated to activities in Saladin.

بدأت منظمة مثلث الجيل الانساني في 2019 بتنفيذ مشروع أمن غذائي و فرص عمل ضمنن اطار تعاون مع منظمة ميرسي كور و منظمة النجدة الشعبية في محافظة نينوى، قضاء الحمدانية، لدعم سلاسل قيم الاسماك، الزيتون، الاغنام و الدواجن اضافة الى التطوير المستدام للري: من خلال اعادة تأهيل المشاريع الاروائية، تحسين منظومات البزل، الترويج وتنفيذ منظومات الري بالطاقة الشمسية، الترويج ودعم استخدام منظومات الري بالتنقيط، انشاء الابار للري و التعاون مع الشركاء المحليين في جوانب المشروع.

حصلت منظمة مثلث الجيل الانساني و شركائها ميرسي كور و منظمة النجدة الشعبية على تمويل للمرحلة الثانية من المشروع من قبل الوكالة الفرنسية للتنمية. بدء المشروع في شهر اذار 2022 و يستمر لمدة 34 شهر، مع التركيز على النشاطات الاتية:

• دعم اضافي للنشاطات المنفذة خلال مشروع بيرما المرحلة الاولى في محافظة نينوى و بالاخص الترويج لمنظومات الري بالطاقة الشمسية و انظمة الري بالتنقيط و تطوير السوق لسلالة دجاج الميزو، تشغيل مشروع مفقس الاسماك، و دعم مزارعي الزيتون و توسيع مشاتل الصبار الاملس (يتم استخدام الصبار الاملس كبديل علفي). 30% من الميزانية الكلية للمشروع سيتم تخصيصها لدعم النشاطات المذكورة اعلاه.
• دعم خدمات الاعمال الزراعية الصغيرة في محافظة صلاح الدين، مع التركيز على اقضية تكريت و بيجي و شمال سامراء. المشروع سيتضمن المشروع نفس اهداف المرحلة الاولى من مشروع بيرما، باستخدام نظام تطوير السوق لسلاسل قيم الدواجن و الماشية، بهدف تعزيز الخدمات البيطرية و خدمات معالجة و انتاج الحليب و كذلك تحسين وصول المربين للعلف. منظمة مثلث الجيل الانساني مسؤولة ايضا عن جانب الري من المشروع، مع التركيز على نشاطات اعادة تأهيل المشاريع الاروائية و الترويج لأساليب الري البديلة مثل انظمة الري بالطاقة الشمسية. 70% من الميزانية الكلية للمشروع سيتم تخصيصها للنشاطات في صلاح الدين

 

RESPONSABILITIES

The Livestock Supervisor in Tikrit will ensure quality implementation of activities related with the agricultural component (50% of the activities in Tikrit), which will include:

• Assessment of the veterinary needs in Bayji, Tikrit and Samarra and selection of private and public veterinary partners
• Support to veterinary services in Bayji, Tikrit and Samarra, including reinforcement of the veterinarians’ capacities.
• Support the development of the poultry value chain in Bayji, Tikrit and Samarra.
• Support the development of milk processing services in Bayji, Tikrit and Samarra.
• Partnership with the DoA, the department of veterinary services, academic and other potential relevant stakeholders in the sheep and poultry value chain.
• Training of farmers in the sheep and poultry value chain

مشرف الثروة الحيوانية في تكريت سيضمن التنفيذ الفعال للانشطة المتعلقة بجانب الزراعة من المشروع (التي تمثل 50% من النشاطات في صلاح الدين)، و تشمل:

• تقييم الاحتياجات البيطرية في اقضية بيجي، تكريت و سامراء و اختيار الشركاء من البيطرين في كلا القطاعين العام و الخاص.
• دعم الخدمات البيطرية في اقضية بيجي وتكريت و سامراء، ويشمل الدعم تعزيزامكانيات الاطباء البيطريين.
• دعم تطوير خدمات تحويل و معالجة الحليب في اقضية بيجي وتكريت و سامراء.
• الشراكات مع مديرية الزراعة ودائرة الخدمات البيطرية والشركاء الاكاديميين و الشركاء المحتملين الاخرين المتعلقين بسلاسل قيم الاغنام و الدواجن.
• تدريب مدربي الاغنام و الدواجن.

TASKS :

The Livestock Supervisor will ensure that these activities are implemented in an efficient way and that quality results are achieved. Under the responsibility of the SAD Deputy Project Manager, the Livestock supervisor will have the responsibilities defined as follows:

مشرف الثروة الحيوانية سيكون مسؤولاً عن تنفيذ النشاطات بطريقة فعالة و التأكد من تحقيق ننتائج و متطلبات الجودة بأاشراف مباشر من نائب مدير المشروع.

مسؤوليات مشرف الثروة الحيوانية:

Responsibility 1:   She / He contributes to Internal and consortium coordination of the project

• She / He participates in weekly internal project meetings.
• She / He communicates regularly with the SAD DPM and the Project Manager.
• She / He coordinates with the other deputies, officers and supervisors for technical aspects of the activities.
• She / He coordinates with the team based in Mosul and is open for advice and learning visit in Hamdaniya where the first phase of the project has been implemented.
• She / He coordinates with Tikrit Mercy Corps and PAO teams to implement coordinated intervention on the sheep and poultry value chains.

اولاً: يساهم في التنسيق الداخلي للمشروع.

• يـ/تشارك في الاجتماعات الاسبوعية الخاصة بالمشروع.
• يـ/تتواصل بصورة دورية مع نائب مدير المشروع في صلاح الدين و مدير المشروع.
• يـ/ تنسق العمل مع نائبي مدير المشروع و الموظفين و المشرفين الاخرين في المشروع حول الجوانب الفنية لنشاطات المشروع.
• يـ/ تنسق مع فريق المشروع في مدينة الموصل ويـ/تكون متقبلاً للاراء و النصائح الفنية و اجراء الزيارات التدريبية الى محافظة نينوى، قضاء الحمدانية لزيارة نشاطات المشروع التي تم تنفيذها في المرحلة الاولى من المشروع.
• يـ/ تنسق مع فريق منظمة ميرسي كور و فريق منظمة النجدة الشعبية في تكريت لتنفيذ نشاطات متناسقة ضمن سلاسل قيم الاغنام و الدواجن.

Responsibility 2: She / He contributes to the quality implementation of project activities and achievement of results.

• She / He participates in the efficient implementation of project activities and ensure the achievement of quality results;
• She/he regularly conducts field visits, to check that project partners participate in the implementation of activities.
• She/He performs post-monitoring surveys and check that project partners remain involved in the activities.
• She/He communicates on the implementation of the activities related to agriculture to the SAD DPM and Program Manager
• She/He participates in promotion and marketing activities and facilitates discussions during the promotion workshops.
• She/He organizes training and capacity building sessions
• She / He verifies the achievement of results with target groups;
• She / He works closely with the DoA, department of veterinary services and the University of Tikrit regarding the implementation of the above-cited activities.

ثانياً: يـ/تساهم في تنفيذ نشاطات المشروع و تحقيق النتائج حسب متطلبات الجودة.

• يـ/تشارك في التفيذ الفعال لأنشطة المشروع و تحقيق النتائج حسب متطلبات الجودة.
• يـ/تقوم باجراء الزيارات الموقعية بصورة دورية للتأكد من ان شركاء المشروع مشاركين في تنفيذ الانشطة.
• يـ/تقوم باجراء استطلاعات ما بعد التنفيذ و التأكد من شركاء المشروع مستمرين بالمساهمة في النشاطات.
• يـ/ تتواصل حول تنفيذ الانشطة المتعلقة بالزراعة والثروة الحيوانية مع نائب مدير المشروع في صلاح الدين ومدير المشروع.
• يـ/تشارك في الترويج و التسويق للانشطة وتسهيل التواصل والنقاشات خلال ورش العمل الترويجية.
• يـ/تقوم بتنظيم التدريبات و جلسات بناء القدرات.
• يـ/ تتأكد من تحقيق النتائج مع الفئات المستهدفة.
• يـ/ تعمل بشكل مباشر مع مديرية الزراعة و دائرة الخدمات البيطرية و جامعة تكريت فيما يتعلق بتنفيذ الانشطة المذكورة اعلاه.

Responsibility 3:   She / he ensures reporting, monitoring and documentation

• She / He ensures the collection of data and ensures that they are complete and correct.
• She / He contributes to the elaboration of reporting tools.
• She / He delivers the surveys.
• She/He supports the SAD DPM in monitoring the activities, making sure all relevant documents are signed and completed by partners and farmers and follows-up on the project’s indicators.
• She/He ensures proper archiving and filing of all relevant documents to the agriculture activities: letters, authorisations, logistics documents, financial documents and indicator evidence.

ثالثا: يـ/تتأكد من تقديم التقارير و المراقبة والتوثيق.

• يـ/تتأكد من جمع البيانات و التأكد من ان البيانات كاملة و دقيقة.
• يـ/تساهم في تصميم ادوات التقارير.
• يـ/ تقوم باجراء وتسليم الاستطلاعات.
• يـ/ توفر الدعم لنائب مدير المشروع في صلاح الدين في مراقبة النشاطات، و التأكد من ان جميع الوثائق موقعة و كاملة من قبل الشركاء والفلاحين و متابعة تحقيق مؤشرات المشروع.
• يـ/ تتأكد من ارشفة الملفات المتعلقة بالانشطة الزراعي: كتب ورسائل وتخاويل والادوات اللوجستية و الادوات والوثائق المالية و دلائل تحقيق المؤشرات.

Responsibility 4:   She / he coordinates with the support team.

• She / He collaborates with the support team (logistic, admin, HR and finance).
• She / He anticipates the logistic need and reports them to the SAD DPM
• She / He reports any security aspect to the SAD DPM.
• She / He contributes to the safety/security of the team by following the security measures.

رابعاً: يـ/تتعاون مع فرق الاسناد.

• يـ/تتعاون مع فرق الاسناد (الاقسام اللوجستية و الادارية و المالية)
• يـ/تخمن الاحتياجات اللوجستية و تقديم تقارير الاحتياجات الى نائب مدير المشروع في صلاح الدين.
• يـ/ تبلغ عن اي حدث امني الى نائب مدير المشروع في صلاح الدين.
• يـ/ تساهم في ضمان سلامة وأمن الفريق بأتباه الاجراءات الامنية
