JOB DESCRIPTION
- University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in life cycle support of military equipment, specifically in armoured vehicle systems (light, medium and heavy, wheeled or tracke, and associated integrated weaponry systems.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of production and logistics management of armoured vehicle systems preferably acquired in international programmes.
- Ability to analyse complex and wideranging questions, issues and information, with a structured approach to problem solving, including providing recommendations and proposing a way forward.
- Experience in systems engineering requirements definition for acquisition of complex land combat systems.
- Sound knowledge of armoured Systems Life Cycle Management such as Infantry Fighting vehicles (IFV, Main Battle Tanks (MBArmoured Personnel Carriers (AP, Armoured Recovery Vehicles (AR, Amoured Engineering Vehicles (AEand related equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and drawings.
- Experience in drafting contractual requirements for engineering and logistics support tasks.
