The base location for this role is Worthing.The Local Director will act as ambassador of the Bank to the external market, cultivating collaborative relationships with wider external stakeholders across the business community. They will be responsible for managing, leading and developing a SME BB coverage team for the local SME business market. The role will have full credit and operational risk oversight and supports the formulation and implementation of strategy.The role holder will champion a customer-obsessed and winning mindset culture across the business and embed high-performance through SME Business Banking colleagues to better serve our customers. Responsible for developing a sustainable local business growth strategy, focusing the team on maximising the depth and breadth of existing customer relationships, with an awareness of cultivating new-to bank opportunities, whilst leveraging our network aligned with bank’s overall goals.In this role, you will:
