Do you want a role where no two days are the same and you will be making a real impact to the lives of our customers?
Can you work under pressure and manage challenging situations?
If this sounds like you then we may have your perfect opportunity!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Local Service Manager to lead our Supported Living team in Wandsworth and Lambeth. In Wandsworth we provide medium-level, personalised support for adults with mental health needs, and promote physical and mental health and wellbeing to enable our residents to develop their skills, achieve their individual goals and move on to independent living. The Lambeth services deliver intensive housing management for adults with mental health needs.
Set in Earlsfield in the heart of the London borough of Wandsworth, the role is based in John Pounds House, a supported living service which offers on-site support for 20 clients in one-bedroom and studio self-contained flats. Support is also delivered to 4 clients in one-bedroom self-contained flats to a location in Battersea. There are good transport connections (by bus, train and London Underground) to both services.
The role will also oversee the service which provides intensive housing management across the borough of Lambeth where you will work in partnership with the onsite external support provider (who are responsible for the delivery of the support).
The role will require some travelling between services.
As a Local Service Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, delivering and the development of a quality service that meets our customer, organisational and financial needs. You will be responsible for effectively leading staff teams to ensure effective support systems are in place so that all service users receive focused, personalised support.
We value our team and encourage learning and progression through our comprehensive induction programme, as well as ongoing training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. We have our own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.
Sanctuary also offers a great employee rewards scheme, where you will be able to receive a variety of discounts from major retailers.
