Job Title: Locum Property LawyerJob Reference: LMD/88051Job Description: We have two fantastic opportunities to join a Local Authority in the Northwest as a Locum Property Lawyer. The client is looking for someone to work on a hybrid basis, with one day a week in the office, but will consider fully remote candidates. The client is looking one candidate to start as soon as possible; the second candidate is to start at the beginning of April. Both contracts will be booked in until the end of October 2025 initially, with potential to extend further.Main Responsibilities:

• Advising on property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development agreements.
• Drafting and negotiating property and commercial contracts, including long leases, right to buy sales, and leasehold enfranchisement.
• Providing legal advice on land and property law, including landlord and tenant matters.
• All forms of restate management work, both residential and commercial.
• Working closely with council departments, developers, and external stakeholders to progress key projects.
