Our client who is a leading manufacturer of Windows and Doors have an exciting opportunity for a Logistic Supervisor to join their small and friendly team based in Barnwood, Gloucester on a permanent basis.The role will involve supervising a small team and you will need to ensure that all raw materials and finished goods comply and conform to company specifications and are in accordance with the Quality Assurance Policy.The company is looking for a hard-working and committed individual. If you have previous experience of working within a factory/warehouse this would be highly beneficial however they would be happy to provide full training for somebody with the right attitude and willingness to learn.Key Responsibilities:-Attend daily meetings with other key staff members advising any operational problems.-Report any non-conformance materials in accordance with department procedures.-Ensure that finished goods are inspected and wrapped appropriately in in line with deadlines.-Supervise the loading of despatch vehicles in accordance with delivery lists.-Plan the unloading and storage of delivered goods in a safe way.-Ensure that all associated materials are safely and securely located within the factory.-Supervise the day to day housekeeping so that the Department is always presented in a clean, tidy and professional way.-Ensure that all Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to at all times.Candidate Attributes:-Pro-active with a can-do attitude.-Good organisational skills.-A team player with ability to motivate others-Strong Attention to detail.Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm + overtime availableSalary: Very competitive hourly pay + team monthly bonus earning potential & regular salary reviews, opportunity to progress, onsite parking and free hot & cold drinks
