Our client, a leading global corporation within the field of inspection, analysis, and certification, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join their Inspections Department as an Inspections Co-Ordinator. This role reports to the Head of Inspections and offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the efficient implementation of inspection services.

Key Responsibilities:
– Implement and manage the inspection service for all commodities.
– Process reports and certificates efficiently.
– Define service provision, including supervision/inspection protocol.
– Assess and minimise exposure risks for the company and clients.
– Ensure meticulous attention to detail in managing all appointment aspects.
– Co-ordinate inspections, weighing, sampling, etc., for shipments.
– Provide exceptional customer service and maintain regular client contact.
– Contribute to the Inspections Department profit and loss processes.
– Assist in dispute resolution in line with company procedures.
– Undertake responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Key Tasks:
– Take full responsibility for each appointment.
– Define service provision and inspection protocol.
– Assess exposure risks for the company and clients.
– Ensure meticulous attention to detail in managing all appointment aspects.
– Co-ordinate inspections, weighing, sampling, etc., for shipments.
– Provide technical assistance for tender preparation.
– Manage database in accordance with company procedures.
– Contribute to business planning for the inspection service.
Person Specification:
Key Skills/Attributes:
– Methodical with strict attention to detail.
– Ability to multitask and manage several jobs concurrently.
– Strong analytical skills to recognise patterns in numbers.
– Professional communication at all levels within the company.
– Customer-facing skills, building sound business relationships.
Knowledge:
– GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths (Desirable).
– Working knowledge of quality services and factors in delivering a quality service.
– Working knowledge of database systems and factors in delivering a profitable service.
– Working knowledge of inspection and supervision.
– Working knowledge of Ports, Vessels, and Warehouses.
– Working knowledge of industry procedures.
Experience:
– Experience in a customer service or client-facing environment (Desirable).
– Experience within the inspections industry (Desirable).
