The role
As a Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will make a real difference, ensuring the smooth inbound receipt, storage, and delivery of business-critical equipment to our internal and external customers.

Day to day, you’ll lead and develop a diverse team of up to 20 Logisticians, guaranteeing the highest safety standards are met, within the warehouse environment and in delivery to the program.

• Ensure the Warehouse & Logistics function is operated cost-effectively and within Babcock International and our customers requirements,
• Plan and monitor the resource allocation across the logistics team.
• Identify, implement, and maintain best practice across all Warehousing & Logistics functions.
• Ensure the safety, maintenance, security and accountability for all material and equipment stored.
• Supervise and support team members, ensuring a safety focussed, seamless operation.

This role is full time at 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 07:30-17:15 and will be based on site at our Rosyth Dockyard, Fife site.

Essential experience of the Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor:

• Comprehensive understanding of Warehousing & Logistics operations, processes and procedures.
• Prioritise health and safety and actively promote it within your team.
• You should possess leadership experience, including overseeing teams and handling line management duties.

Qualifications for the Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS and SC security clearance for this role.
