This position requires a talented Logistics Business Development Executive capable of driving our clients logistics sales to new heights. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a team player, adept at identifying lucrative business opportunities and maintaining sustainable relationships with key clients.

  • Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organisation.
  • Plan approaches and pitches that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • The role will focus on filling spare distribution centre capacity across the network with short and long-term storage, picking and or value added services.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
  • Work with other Sales, marketing, Solutions design and operational teams to ensure that proposal are fulfilled within a timely manner.

  • Proven business development or related experience in the logistics distribution and supply chain industry.
  • Hunter sales mentality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Experience working with senior and influencing internal and external decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
