Salary: £25,000 per annum
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Full Time, Permanent role, Full Training provided
Search Commercial Division are currently representing an innovative and growing business within Leeds, who are looking for a dynamic and efficient administrator to join their small team up North!
A great opportunity to gain more knowledge and experience within import/export and freight management on an international basis across Europe and the rest of the world. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will require a keen eye for detail and an ability to think on your feet. If you like to problem-solve, this could be the ideal role for you.
The Key Duties of the Logistics Co-ordinator
- Dealing with road freight (trailer) shipments import and export (in and out of Europe). Arranging UK customs clearances, chasing deliveries to customer, dealing with customers and haulage companies.
- Sending, processing, and chasing invoices
- Requesting quotations
- Arranging airfreights, customs clearance, deliveries
- Arrange deliveries
- Screen and direct telephone calls
- Obtain updates from airlines, shipping lines and hauliers for delivery updates
- Maintain and updating customer spreadsheets
- Tasks as requested by the Commercial Manager.
The Key Requirements of the Logistics Co-ordinator
- Strong Administration Background
- Ability to co-ordinate several tasks at once
- Can-do attitude and an enthusiastic approach
