Job Summary |
Applications are currently being accepted for a Logistics Coordinator for TECTA. TECTA (Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance) is a statewide system established to provide affordable professional development with academic degree credit possibilities for Tennessee’s early childhood education personnel. The TECTA Logistics Coordinator position will (essential job duties):
- Assist in compiling accurate reports in a timely manner.
- Take the lead in logistical support for planning state-wide trainings, conferences, and workshops.
- Serve as office contact for travel-related needs.
- Serve as lead contact for Emergency Preparedness component of grant; lead meetings, and workshops, and serve as lead for local community Emergency Prep. event planning
- Responsible for office social media and marketing for all events, training schedules, and meetings
- Serve as Child Development Associate (CDA) reviewer
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to travel with overnight stays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Drive.
- Skilled in interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to schedule multiple events and meetings and collaborate with partner agencies.
- Working knowledge of TN child care licensing requirements.
- Preferred knowledge of the Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) process.
- Willingness to participate and engage in social media outlets for work-related duties.

Required Qualifications |
- Associate or applied associate degree or higher in early childhood education or closely related field.
- At least 2 years experience working in early care with children (birth-12 years).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in a clerical office setting.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
- 1 year of experience with data entry.
- Knowledge of the Child Development Credential (CDA) process.
- Experience with event planning and scheduling.
