  • Organising deliveries from/to Multiple EMEA locations as required.
  • Ensuring customer delivery dates are met.
  • Dealing with day-to-day communication with our customer service department/co-packers/transport carriers/third-party warehouses.
  • Prepare and/or coordinator Import/Export Transport documentation (Packing lists/certificates/ commercial invoices)
  • Support the current transition of the SAP Transportation Management (TMS) programme and assist with the transition of SAP TMS being used as a live communication tool for arranging transport.
  • Support with any Customs-related queries I.e. V&D, Commodity Codes.
  • Support with carrier onboarding on the SAP Transportation system.
  • Monitor and maintain information in our SAP Transport Management System (TMS) “. For example; pricing information/ creating new routes / adding new carriers and managing any orders that fail into system exceptions i.e., product/ lanes routes/transport/prices companies not populating correctly.
  • Maintain any material master data which directly impacts the data within SAP TMS
  • Working with our internal and external support teams as well as our chosen transport carriers to allow us to use our SAP TMS as a communication tool.
  • Managing and reviewing the live view of loads status and feeding back to the customer service team and management in relation to any delays (while also documenting any evidence to assist with claimable occurrences).
  • Supporting tender review and cost-saving exercises.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Structured Approach: Organized and systematic approach to logistics management.
  • Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP and TM systems for efficient logistics operations.
  • Process Driven: Strong adherence to established logistics processes.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to plan and execute logistics projects effectively.
  • People Management: Experience in leading teams and fostering collaboration.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Ability to maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze data for process optimization.
  • Process Control: Implementing and monitoring controls for quality assurance.
  • Experience: Previous import/export logistics experience preferred.
