Logistics CoordinatorCompetitive salary + 21 days holiday + Bank Holiday + ability to increase holiday up to 26 days + Death in service + Pension Scheme + salary sacrifice + early Friday finishMonday – Friday Days (Monday- Thursday 8-5pm & Friday 8.30am-2pm)Bridgwater – commutable from – Chard, Cullompton, Honiton, Tiverton, Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton, Glastonbury, Weston-Super-Mare, Yeovil, Minehead, ClevedonAre you a logistics coordinator looking for the next exciting step in your career with an industry leading company?Excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics professional to join a leading global company, who have a great reputation in their field due to their exceptional product lines and outstanding levels of customer service in a varied and interesting role.As a Logistics coordinator you will work with Warehouse, Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, Operations & Customer Service teams within a manufacturing environment & will focus on ensuring the compliance of regulatory documentation relating to the transportation, supply chain and customs and excise activities of hazardous goods.This is a full-time Monday – Friday position, with an early finish on Fridays, allowing for a healthy work-life balance and the chance to enjoy all that Bridgwater and the surrounding areas have to offer.The role:

• Organisation & administrative work related to domestic and international shipments
• Customs Declarations, Excise Duties, Hazardous Goods Documentation and Dangerous Goods Declarations
• keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes, relating to shipping requirements
• Driving efficiency improvements

The person:

• Qualified, with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or chemical environment
• Familiar with MRP systems within ERP environments
• Demonstrable track record of working with a large vendor base
