£28,000K per annumAbout the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a busy, fast-paced transport and distribution operation in Birmingham. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in pallet networks or high-volume, multi-drop logistics who thrive in a time-critical environment.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of daily deliveries, maintaining excellent service levels, and managing schedules to meet strict deadlines.Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party carriers
• Manage bookings, delivery manifests, and transport documentation
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively resolve any logistical issues or delays
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding delivery schedules and queries
• Ensure full compliance with transport regulations and internal company policies
• Accurately maintain internal systems, records, and reporting
• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and service updates

Requirements

• Proven experience within a pallet network or high-volume, multi-drop logistics environment
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
• Proactive problem-solver with a positive, team-focused approach
