Role details:Salary: Up to £64,000 DOEHours: 37.5 per weekWorking pattern: Monday to FridayLocation: Cumbernauld, G67 2XNWhat you’ll do:Your key accountabilities will include:

You will plan and deliver all operations transport activities through your team of Transport Shift Manager, to ensure the required level of service is provided
Effectively motivate, manage and inspire your team to develop and grow the skills of their team
Drive Continuous Improvement within the operation
Provide inspirational leadership to your team and work in partnership with M&S & our customers to ensure productivity, accuracy and cost targets are met and exceeded

Who you are:Your skills and experience will include:

Experience of working in a large, complex transport function – ideally within temperature controlled/FMCG distribution
A passion for encouraging teamwork, with an innovative approach to leadership
CPC License
Excellent customer relationship-building skills
Strong commercial awareness
An analytical mindset with a good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics
Relevant transport management systems knowledge
Flexibility to work within a fast-paced 24/7 business
