ADM Agriculture operates from locations throughout England and offers a people-based quality service to farmers and consumers. As well as providing an integrated supply chain to ADM’s UK assets in milling and oil seed crushing, ADM Agriculture supply a full range of non-grain feed ingredients to the feed and fuel markets, alongside a comprehensive range of seed and fertiliser products.

Your Responsibilities & Role Purpose
Working as part of the Logistics team focusing on the logistics for human consumption (HC) products for our Long Sutton site. The appointed person will be required to attend the Long Sutton site once per week for the first 3 months, with monthly visits thereafter, or as required (business mileage will be reimbursed).

  • Organising bulk HC haulage in line with production planning
  • Ensuring only TASSC approved hauliers are used for movement of product.
  • Contacting farmers to arrange delivery and collection of product, liaising with operations ensuring smooth running within inbound and outbound agreed loading times.
  • Administration to support colleagues ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Recording of data on company IT systems.
  • Cross over of duties with other team members on occasion to cover annual leave.
  • To liaise effectively with intercompany departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with all ADM policies and relevant regulatory standards
  • To carry out other reasonable duties as requested by line manager in line with job role.

Your Profile

  • Excellent communication skills being able to converse effectively and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Previous administration and logistics experience required
  • Ability to multi task and to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Must interact and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills both for use on Microsoft packages and bespoke systems.
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Driving licence
  • Attention to detail is paramount
