Our Trades & Labour Division have secured a number of key Infrastructure contracts across the UK, and we are currently looking for Logistics Supervisor for a Tier 1 Contractor in Berkshire.

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently planning and delivering logistics and support functions to enable construction

• You will provide guidance and management on all matters relating to logistics including, but not limited to:
• Materials and equipment expediting, delivery, receipt, storage, management, tracking and issue to site.
• Site infrastructure operation and management, including the off-site Logistics Consolidation Centre.
• Vehicle movement management, including access control and on-site management, and vehicle fleet operations, including maintenance and management.
• Support Logistics, including accommodation, welfare, fuel, and catering.
• You will need to develop logistics plans and submissions (including Construction Logistic Plans and their revisions) in accordance with the Works Information and all other information provided by the client and other stakeholders.

Required:

• Experience of working with a Delivery Management System (DMS).
• Experience of working with FORS/CLOCS.
• Experience of working with sites, suppliers and drivers.
• Experience in construction site logistics.
• Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety.
• Skillful problem solver, and calm under pressure.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
