Job Title: Logistics Site Supervisor – Nights

Location: Reading

Monday to Friday 7pm – 5am

About Us: Approach Personnel are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Site Supervisor

Job Description: As a Logistics Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction site logistics. You will be responsible for Assisting the coordination and management of materials, equipment, and resources necessary for the successful execution of construction projects. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, leadership, and a deep understanding of construction logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage the logistics and supply chain operations on the construction site.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and machinery to support project requirements.
• Supervise and lead a team of logistics staff, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
• Create and execute contingency plans to address unexpected logistical challenges.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Budget management to control costs and maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• CSCS
• SSSTS
