As Logistics Team Member you will provide an efficient, effective and customer orientated logistics service to the business. You will process material requests by liaising with internal customers and external suppliers and assist in the effective control and delivery of logistics inventory. You should be flexible in the tasks requested to complete by Team Leaders following the appropriate training
Role
As a Logistic Team Member role, you will be responsible for a fast-paced process that requires a high level of accuracy in your work as you monitor and assist in the goods in/out process for the business. Duties will include Picking, Packing and Matching up of orders in a timely fashion with complete accuracy.
Upon displaying the correct work ethic and commitment – the role will allow the successful candidate to move through a pathway for further development and career progression.
What you’ll be doing

Take delivery of goods and supplies
Check for damaged or missing items
Store goods appropriately
Pick and pack orders for dispatch
Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
Load goods for dispatch
Input data regarding stock and inventory into the SAP ERP system (Training Provided)
Keep accurate stock records
Carry out weekly stock counts locally and across the network as and when required
Keep paperwork up to date
Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
Other duties include assisting with general office administration including the updating of inventory systems, maintain necessary document control systems, attend and participate in Team + Safety Briefs.

Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Flexible approach and ability to prioritise tasks.
Developed skills using Microsoft Office Packages.(Word and excel)
Familiarisation of SAP, Plant and Circuits, Business Objects. (Not critical)
Valid Clean driving license (Class 2 preferable but not required)
Preferably Experience operating forklift trucks (counterbalance + Reach)
Minimum Criteria
Good Telephone Manner.
Excellent Time Management skills.
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Flexible approach and ability to prioritise tasks.
Full Valid driving licence (where required)
Advantageous Criteria
Forklift Driving License/Experience
Previous Logistics/Warehouse environment exposure
