How can you make a difference?
- The consultant will use their own equipment; laptops, microphones, software and other accessories that may be required for this task.
- The consultant will not give the content/material or any part thereof, to any third party without the written permission of UNICEF. All components will be a property of UNICEF, and the consultant will not share the same with anyone else.
- The consultant will not put their own name or logo/emblem on the content / final product. The only organization branding will be UNICEF, if required.
- Regular liaison with manager and content owners and any related units.
- UNICEF will provide all details pertaining to the activity and the requirements.
- UNICEF will orient the consultant on UNICEF’s branding guidelines.
- UNICEF will share the documents and specifications with the consultant as he/she becomes available and will coordinate the timely delivery of work.
Deliverables:
Virtual Skill Share (VSS)
- Send monthly or quarterly call for VSS sessions.
- Setup up a VSS session in the VSS Academy (including creating and updating session pages, setting up session chats with session leads, setting up evaluation forms and discussing with session leads if necessary).
- Update the VSS PowerBi dashboard with data related to a completed VSS session (including cleaning and inputting data on attendance, registration, and feedback).
Knowledge Exchange Platform

Curate and organize submissions to the KEP based on VSS sessions and other knowledge exchange and KM activities of PFP teams.

Develop good practice pages in the Private Sector Intranet.
Capacity Building

Organize capacity building meetings/sessions on specific Knowledge Management approaches, working with resource persons and facilitators who can lead the design and delivery of the sessions.

Develop training guides and facilitation kits based on completed capacity building sessions.
Inspire Awards
-
Set up of Inspire Awards SharePoint pages.

Support the coordination of Inspire Awards Launch phase (Liaise with category leads to define criteria for each category, set up coordination chats, guide technical panels on scoring entries).

Support the Submission phase of the Inspire Awards (Promote the Submission stage via e-mail and Viva Engage, support panels with templates and branded images, monitor and update panels weekly on number of entries).

Support to the Shortlisting phase of the Inspire Awards (Coordinate across the 21 technical review panels, following up on deadlines, update guidance note in developing shortlisted videos, create SharePoint pages).
- Support the Voting phase of the Inspire Awards (set up of voting forms, promotion via email and viva engage, support to panels on their category’s promotion, consolidation of winners).
- Support the post-Inspire Awards processing phase (consolidate winners list for Global Directory badges, set up of Inspire Awards certificates and draft email to winners).
Travel:
No travel is expected nor included in this ToR.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree or higher) in knowledge management, business management, international studies, adult education or any other relevant field of discipline, is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in the following fields: knowledge management, learning, production of knowledge products, or relevant areas is required.
- Experience creating and editing SharePoint pages is required.
- Experience in organizing knowledge sharing events is required.
- Experience in developing or implementing capacity-building activities/events/projects would be an asset.
- Working experience within UNICEF or other UN entities, familiarity with the work of UNICEF National Committees and/or private sector fundraising would be an asset.
Language:
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to process information and feedback and translate these into different knowledge products is required.
- Expertise in developing sites in Modern SharePoint, especially knowledge portals, is an asset.
- A keen sense for visual design, website navigation/interaction and user experience are an asset.
- Strong coordination and project management skills and ability to work with teams is an asset.
- Expertise in community management, organization of webinars, and assessing the quality of knowledge products is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and to meet tight deadlines is required.

The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract.
