CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Financial Analyst to work in the Global Wheat Program.   

 

The positions will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.

Specific duties:

  • Execute and submit for approval rationale and supporting documentation for reallocations of expenditure between projects.
  • Perform Journals and PRS related to supplies and Services as needed.
  • Do the proper follow up with corporate services areas related to pending/open issues (i.e. Legal, FMU, etc.)
  • Analyze, supervise, and monitor category expenses.
  • Monitoring of purchase requisitions and doing the proper follow up, (Monthly analysis file).
  • Maintain and Update Staff List in excel.
  • Staff list conciliation vs Employee database in AX.
  • Monthly review and analysis of Shared cost regarding to GWP staff in ROS.
  • Commitments monthly conciliation.
  • Review and analyze monthly expenses from Regional Offices related to GWP Projects’.
  • GWP analysis as requested.
  • Support financial functions and activities related to the GWP project portfolio.

 

®      The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

®      The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field.

®      The candidate must have knowledge of MS Office  specially excel.

®      The selected candidate must have an intermediate level in English language (English test will be administered; candidate must score a minimum of B1 as per CEFR).
