M&A Analyst (Mergers & Acquisitions)Harrogate 3 days a week – Hybrid workingPermanent, full timeCompetitive salary plus benefitsHere at Adler & Allan we continue to grow and make a difference to the environment!We are thrilled to announce we are looking for a M&A Analyst to join the team in this exciting time of growth for the organisation.Ader & Allan are a private equity owned business, so the M&A team are pivotal for success making acquisitions to support the inorganic growth strategy for the Group, here you can showcase your talent undertaking research on potential targets, prepare wider market research and provide support on transactions. The role will report into Head of M&A but have significant levels of exposure to the wider Senior Leadership team so you can really see the impact of your work.More about the role:

• Research on potential M&A targets including business overview, financial summary, ownership and summarise other key publicly available information

• Coordinating target feedback from Divisional Heads and Senior Management and maintain up-to-date records

• Managing the funnel / pipeline of M&A targets including maintaining up-to-date research on key targets and reflecting latest status

• Market level desk top research and collecting knowledge from the A&A Group across each of the three Divisions (Energy, Water and Environmental) to help support the M&A focus areas

• Assisting in transactions, as required, such as preparing financial analysis, reviewing data room documentation and supporting due diligence workstreams

About you:Bringing with you your financial background (ACA or alternative qualifications) alongside demonstrable interest in M&A and the environmental sectors in which A&A operate, one of your fortes will be a desire to take ownership/responsibility for assigned work with the ability to work independently.This role would suit either someone already in M&A at a junior level or a newly qualified accountant with a keen interest in moving into M&A.About Us: At Adler and Allan Group, we’re not just a company – we’re environmental champions committed to protecting our planet while helping businesses thrive.
