About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our Estates team on a full-time permanent basis.
 
As part of a multi skilled technical services team, the primary focus of this role is to provide an electrical maintenance and installation service to our Penryn and Falmouth Campus buildings and infrastructure. It’s a varied role and represents a great opportunity to join a close-knit team.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who will be City and Guilds qualified or hold an NVQ equivalent in Electrical installation and/or maintenance along with substantial post qualification experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, be able to assess and solve problems on site but be able to operate effectively as part of a great team.
 
We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills/experience:
 

  • Experience with maintenance & repair of single/three phase distribution, heating, lighting and ventilation systems
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Good interpersonal skills with a calm approach and a focus on providing good customer service
  • Good IT skills
  • A current full driving license

 
The working hours for this role will mainly be Monday to Friday each week, however, flexibility is key for this role as some weekend work may be required. You must be willing to participate in the Out of Hours Call out rota.
