In this role, you will:

• Conduct inspections of all vacant units and perform repairs and maintenance of vacant units;
• Perform resident service requests in addition to routine repairs and maintenance of interior and exterior common areas;
• Performs periodic preventive maintenance inspections of the building envelope, mechanical systems and equipment, recording readings and observations;
• Monitor the performance of outside contractors to ensure quality work and excellent customer service;
• Coordinate with team members and manager to ensure high customer satisfaction at all levels;
• Ensure areas are left clean and secure after maintenance work is completed;
• Report any maintenance deficiencies so that corrective action can be taken;
• Understand and adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, CNESST, the Quebec Private Sector Privacy and Human Rights Act, and any other applicable legislation governing day-to-day operations;
• Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by management.

We would like you to have:

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a client-facing environment or in the service industry
• High school or college education in a relevant field
• Trade certificate or license is an asset
• Ability to perform appliance repairs, routine plumbing repairs, repairs and maintenance requiring basic carpentry, painting and electrical skills
• Knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems
• Ability to safely use and maintain tools of the trade
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Communication skills (listening, speaking and writing)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Knowledge of SAP or Yardi is an asset
• Knowledge of French and English, written and spoken
