JMC Aviation are working with a Aviation Business based near Cardiff, looking to recruit a new Maintenance Technician to join their team.This company are global leaders in Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Storage and Disassembly services.The role has arisen as the company is growing on the maintenance arm of their business, while welcoming the introduction of a new hangar. The team are dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services, ensuring value at every step for some of the world’s leading lessors and airlines.In a varied and dynamic environment, the company work with a diverse range of aircraft types and requirements – from short-term storage, complex modification packages, interior reconfigurations, to end-of-lease maintenance activities.This is a Permanent Position based near Cardiff, the working hours are Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week.Salary and Benefits:– Highly Competitive Salary– Annual Bonus– Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays – plus on occasion, discretionary annual leave days given by executive team– Private Medical Care– Company Annual Bonus– Company Pension Plan– Additional Type trainingThe Role:To support our growing Part 145 Team and assist in the maintenance of various aircraft types.You will primarily be assisting our B1 Engineers during the arrival and subsequent storage and maintenance checks performed to maintain aircraft serviceability prior to entering part outOther duties involve:– Working as part of a team to ensure the safe and compliant maintenance of aircraft.– Accept training in Part 145 Procedures, HF, EWIS & FTS.– Working as a team to ensure aircraft are maintained IAW with team approvals.– To raise any non-conformities/risk of damage/ safety hazards to your manager.– To work closely with the B1 Engineers and the maintenance manager.– To actively participate support the daily reviews, Team Project Boards.– To work with various tools/equipment and ensure all items are always maintained and in a good state of repair.– Perform routine tooling inventory checks.– Supporting the delivery of KPIs across safety, quality, and productivity to maintain operational growth.– Work with help from the business to attain a Part 66 A/B1/B2 license.Coordination with customers and management of customer stockIn order to be successful in this role the Maintenance Technician will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:– Recognised Aircraft Maintenance Qualification– Demonstrable experience in aircraft maintenance.– Good Communication skills.– Be highly focused sticking to the objectives and goals of the Company without giving in to undue distractions and challenges.– Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results.If you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
