Role: Management Accountant

Location: London (Hybrid 1 at home)

Salary: Up to £47,000

This is a great opportunity for any career driven Management Accountant who is looking for the opportunity to progress at an ambitious business. This will be a fast paced varied role with a key focus on timely accurate month end closes.

The aspiring candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team with a realistic prospect to progress to Senior Management Accountant/ Financial Controller within the next 18 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for Sites complete with P&L’s, variance analysis and commentaries
• Preparation and delivery of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage the weekly P&L flash forecast reporting and assist the business with periodic analytical information
• Preparing and delivering weekly key objectives ensuring OKRs are met
• Responsible for the month-end closing processes ensuring all relevant month end journals – accruals, prepayments, stock, depreciation, deferred revenue are accurately recorded
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Assist with maintaining cash flow model and cash flow forecasting
• Provide guidance and support for two accounts assistant making sure Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions run effectively
• Developing and maintaining a strong commercial relationship with all key stakeholders
• Ensure adequate and appropriate financial controls, processes and procedures exist in respect of day-to-day financial functions
• Oversee the year-end closing processes

The successful candidate

• Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT).
• Advanced Excel knowledge with exposure to Pivot Tables and Complex Formulas.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in producing monthly Management Accounts and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Quick to learn and adaptable to changing work allocation and able to prioritise workload to meet challenging deadlines.
• Strong communication & relationship-building skills.
