Management Analyst I/ II– Conservation

Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) – (Position grade: $81,294 – $128,838 annually depending on qualifications, plus a generous paid benefits package including PPO/HMO). Full-time position. Under the direction of the Director of Land and Habitat Conservation, responsible for the coordination of the biological monitoring and land management program for the Coachella Valley Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (CVMSHCP). Performs a wide variety of complex administrative and analytical duties, coordinates conservation efforts with state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and other contractors on behalf of the Coachella Valley Conservation Commission (CVCC). Ability to gather and compile facts and statistics; to evaluate program effectiveness and forecasting; prepare and review contractual and regulatory documents; prepare and maintain complex program records and systems applications; strong writing abilities are essential.

REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in biological sciences, ecology, natural resource management, environmental studies, or a closely related field.
