We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate 

Corporate Finance Manager 

to join our high-performing 

Corporate Finance

 team. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver the key elements of the University’s internal and external financial reporting. This involves the management of activities associated with student tuition income budget and forecasts, treasury functions and annual statutory reporting activities.

You will Co-lead the Corporate Finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and management of staff, including allocation of work priorities, performance review and development.

Essential requirements:

• Full membership of an internationally recognised accounting body (e.g. ICAA or CPA) and ongoing maintenance of professional development.
• Demonstrated a strong understanding of and experience in best-practice financial management.
• Demonstrated team leadership and management skills with the ability to create and maintain an effective customer-focused and efficient team culture.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines for multiple deliverables in a dynamic team structure.
• Demonstrated critical analysis skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment in complex decision-making.
• Demonstrated high-level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise and persuasive reports.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement to enhance the delivery of accounting insight, advice and support to clients.
• Demonstrated experience in a computerised financial system environment including advanced Excel and data interrogation skills.

Desirable

• Relevant experience in an aligned commercial organisation or the higher education sector
