Summary
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Engagement, the Manager,
Development & Operations will be a part of Worldreader’s
Development team. You will be responsible for operations,
Salesforce management, and contributing to donor engagement
strategies.
This is a full-time remote position based in Atlanta, GA or New
York, NY.
Duties/Responsibilities
Donor Engagement
-
Strategic oversight and
implementation of our Annual Giving program.
Support the fundraising team to scale
donor and prospect engagement efforts.
Implement a donor cultivation plan,
focusing on growing relationships with high-level donors and
corporate partners.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders
to plan communications that increase donor engagement.
Development Operations, Reports, & Analytics

Develop and manage operational
systems and processes to support the fundraising team.
Prepare reports and analytics to
track fundraising progress and provide insights for strategy
adjustments.
Manage prospecting efforts to
identify and qualify new donor sources including individuals,
corporations, foundations, and multilateral organizations.
Plan live and online cultivation,
solicitation, and stewardship fundraising events.
Strategic oversight of cultivation
information on donor psychographics.
iWave Prospect research and
implementation.
Ensure accuracy of gift reporting,
analytics, and KPIs to track individual metrics and team-wide
outcomes.
Perform critical administrative tasks
including but not limited to gift processing and donor
acknowledgements.
Salesforce Management

Serve as the Salesforce Data Lead and
point-of-contact for CRM-related issues.
Manage configuration changes,
including but not limited to: flow, assignment rules, approval
processes and reports.
Identify underutilized platform
features, and research best practices and scalable solutions to
create an exceptional user experience.
Improve data quality, implementing
rules and automation as needed.
Perform system maintenance including
security reviews, release updates, health checks, and
optimization.
Set up new donor information, update
revenue opportunities, and constituent records.
Desired Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience in
nonprofit fundraising, operations, and/or data
management.
Strong knowledge of CRM donor
databases (Salesforce highly preferred), including best practices
for tracking and reporting.
Exceptional ability to prioritize
multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to identify areas to increase
efficiency of our development systems.
Proficiency in Google Office Suite
and Salesforce.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with preference
given to candidates with professional non-profit fundraising
certifications, training and/or degrees.
Demonstrated organizational and
project management skills with experience in planning, executing,
and completing multiple complex projects.
Experience in developing an annual
fund preferred.
Physical & Travel Requirements
-
Prolonged periods of sitting at a
desk and working on a computer.
Possible occasional travel.
