The EU team of Ernst Young provides robust and evidence-based policy, regulatory and economic advice, and technical assistance to European institutions mainly.

You will be joining our Internal Market & Consumers Team which has a high-profile, expanding project portfolio including for the European Commission and its agencies across a range of policy topics such as SMEs & entrepreneurship, industry & sustainability, standardisation, digital markets, consumer empowerment & awareness & safety. To further expand the team we are looking for a Manager.

 

As Manager you will:

• manage complex projects, deliver evidence based outputs on time and to the satisfaction of the EC public policy bodies.
• lead proposals, consortia and develop budgets.
• provide intellectual & methodological leadership in projects and proposals.
• contribute to the leadership and growth of the team by bringing fresh and innovative ideas.
• encourage collaboration and mutual learning
• contribute to the internal training programme and help to develop junior team members
• have proficiency in collecting and analysis qualitative and quantitative data by means of desk research, interviews, surveys etc.;
• organise and coordinate specific contracts (guiding, and ensuring the quality of the desk research and analysis, surveys, interviews, etc.);
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals;
• Develop data collection guides, questionnaires or research templates;
• Coordinate staff including briefing, reviewing;
• Communicate with clients;

 

Your Profile

You have:

• Master degree in European Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations or similar
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to lead large teams involving partners, experts, and internal teams.
• Experience of writing and winning competitive bids.
• Ability to write and communicate with clients, partners, experts, and colleagues in excellent English.
• Sectoral expertise is a strong asset
