  • Permanent Full Time (1 FTE)
  • Bayside Peninsula Location, Minimum 4 days on site
  • SCHADS 8, $122,745.17 (plus super and salary packaging)

Role Purpose

The Manager of Family and Financial Counselling / Capability Services is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of these services throughout the Bayside Peninsula with a significant portion of the team dedicated to Family Services. This role includes overseeing Team Leaders who manage Family Services, Financial Counselling, and Capability Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of an integrated, place-based strategy alongside senior leaders, emphasising client-centricity, ecological integration, and community co-delivery.
  • Deliver services to comply with contract agreements, ensuring programs meet or exceed Funder expectations and requirements.
  • Provide effective people leadership, cultivating a positive team culture, and fostering professional development and growth among team members.
  • Oversee performance management processes, setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and supporting the continuous development of team members.
  • Identify and support opportunities for integrated service partnerships, sharing insights and building capabilities to enhance effectiveness.

About you

  • Formal qualification in Social Work, Health Services, Psychology or other relevant discipline, and evidence of Registration where applicable.
  • Experience working in leadership roles overseeing a range of services, including knowledge and expertise in Family Services and Financial Counselling / Capability.
  • Relevant experience in a leadership role responsible for Program service delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing staff, including practice supervision, recruitment and managing individual key performance indicators.
