Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Manager, Finance Systems Improvement to join Finance Business Solutions, Chancellery Division.

The Manager, Finance Systems Improvement will oversee business improvement, functional and frontline support for Finance Business Solutions, conduct project reviews and analyse current business practices, process, procedures and guidelines. The key focus of this role is business improvement and ensuring a high level of client service delivery to the University. This will be achieved through the delivery of client centric and user friendly technology solutions, supported by a tailored and targeted professional suite of finance training and support programs.

What you need to succeed

Essential:

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a postgraduate qualification in finance or a related business discipline and extensive relevant experience. 
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and manage collaborative working relationships, engage with diverse client groups and work effectively in a high performing team to achieve business outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated high level of business acumen, leadership and proven results in delivering successful business process improvement outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence across multiple business areas to develop and deliver training and support to FBS.
  • Proven experience in the development of high quality, user friendly and well defined financial tools including financial policies and procedures. 
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate business process improvement and lead major change projects. 
  • Desirable:

  • Demonstrated  experience in a successful large-scale ERP implementation project.
