Manager, Learning & Leadership Development

Job Summary:

Program lead for HR strategic initiatives including Professional Development, Career Development, and Employee Engagement.

Job Duties:

  • Designs and facilitates curriculum development and content delivery for leadership and other professional development programs that are aligned with the institutional strategic plan.
  • Works with Leadership, Managers and HR partners to build leadership capability, reinforce desired behaviors, and assess professional and leadership development needs and performance gaps.
  • Designs leadership programs using both “off-the-shelf” and custom designed content.
  • Administers learning evaluations and assessments to ensure targeted levels of effectiveness and impact of learning programs to achieve business outcomes.
  • Contributes to the overall success of the employee/department by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process and enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Develops and rolls-out post training support and reinforcement tools to sustain behavioral change and drive improved performance and business outcomes.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development is required.


    Experience:

    Five (5) or more years in a learning role with a proven ability to align organizational focus, develop leadership capability, and influence behaviors that support organizational strategies.

      At least two (2) years in a leadership role.

     

    Preferred:

    Experience in an academic healthcare institution is strongly preferred.
